February isn’t just about Valentine’s Day. It’s also a perfect time to show your heart and gut a little extra love. One of the best ways to support both is with a fiber-rich diet that keeps digestion happy and supports cardiovascular health.

This month, we’re focusing on simple, practical ways to nourish your body with seasonal winter produce like beets, kale, and citrus fruits.

💡 Quick Tip:
Add more fiber to your day with nuts, seeds, and leafy greens. Small swaps make a big difference for your heart and gut.

🍓 Recipe Spotlight: Gut-Friendly Berry & Oat Smoothie

  • Ingredients:
    1. 1 cup frozen berries
    2. 1/2 cup oats
    3. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    4. 1 tbsp chia seeds
    5. Optional: drizzle of maple syrup or sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Instructions:
    1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
    2. Blend until smooth.
    3. Enjoy immediately for a heart-healthy, gut-loving breakfast or snack.

🧠 Did You Know?
Beets are packed with nitrates that may help lower blood pressure, and their fiber content keeps your digestion happy. That is a win-win.

Just don't be scared if you see red in the toilet after eating beets. :P
