I finally found a dairy-free yogurt I actually love ๐Ÿซ

My New Favorite Dairy-Free Yogurt Find

โ†“

Hi Reader,

As a GI dietitian, one of the questions I get asked all the time is:

"Is there a dairy-free yogurt that actually tastes good?"

And honestly? It's a fair question.

A lot of dairy-free yogurts fall short when it comes to texture, fiber, protein, or artificial sweeteners. They can be watery, overly sweet, or just not very satisfying.

So when I find something that genuinely surprises me, I have to share it.

Lately, I've been loving Tezza Foods' Blueberry Greek Yogurt, and I found it at Sprouts!

What stood out to me wasn't just the taste (it's thick, creamy, and actually reminds me of Greek yogurt), but also the nutrition.

โœ”๏ธ 12 grams of protein & 4 grams of fiber per serving
โœ”๏ธ Made from soymilk
โœ”๏ธ Dairy-free and vegan
โœ”๏ธ Live probiotic cultures
โœ”๏ธ No artificial sweeteners

One thing I always remind my clients is that protein helps make meals and snacks more satisfying, and this yogurt makes it easy to build a balanced breakfast or afternoon snack.

One of my favorite combinations lately has been:
๐Ÿฅฃ Tezza Blueberry Greek Yogurt
๐Ÿซ Dehydrated blueberries
๐ŸŒฑ Hemp seeds
โœจ Chia seeds

Simple, delicious, and filling.

Now, a quick GI dietitian note...

Not everyone with digestive symptoms tolerates dairy or soy-milk the same way. Some people do just fine with traditional yogurt, while others feel better with dairy-free options. The goal isn't to avoid foods unnecessarily, it's to find foods that work for your body while still enjoying eating.

If you've been searching for a dairy-free yogurt that doesn't feel like a compromise, this one is definitely worth adding to your grocery list.

You can find Tezza Foods in the refrigerated non-dairy section at Sprouts.

I'd love to know...

Hi Reader, I already have three Thanksgiving side dishes bookmarked, and it's not even October! It's got me thinking about how the holiday stretch sneaks up the same time every year, and how much easier it is to get through when you've got a plan instead of scrambling in November. So today I want to talk about building a plan that actually gets you through the season, not just gritting your teeth until January! The 3-Part Plan for Heading Into the Holidays Without Starting Over Most people...

Have you ever looked at a meal and wondered... โ†“ "Will this make me sick?" Maybe you've started avoiding restaurants. Maybe your list of "safe foods" keeps getting smaller. Maybe you're hungry, but eating feels stressful because you don't know how your body will respond. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. For many people living with gastroparesis and other digestive conditions, food starts to feel less like nourishment and more like something to fear. While making nutrition changes...

Are prebiotic sodas good or bad for IBS?

Hi Reader, If your social media feed looks anything like mine, you have probably seen prebiotic sodas everywhere lately. They promise better digestion and a happier gut, and I get asked about them constantly in sessions. So I wanted to dig into the real story, and I brought in one of our dietetic interns to help break it down. Here is the short version. Prebiotic sodas contain fibers like inulin, which feed your gut bacteria, but these are also the same type of carbohydrates found in onion,...
